Welcome to the Asunaro Inn homepage. The lobby is an old samurai house made of thick oak trees which were brought from a village in the mountain of Niigata district in the north of Japan. The house was built without nails to withstand the high humidity and 4-5 meters of snow the area receives. Our lobby has a great reputation because it displays the consistency, simplicity, and serenity of the Japanese architecture style. We will preserve this cultural site. appearance

I am Masayoshi Seue, owner of Asunaro Inn. Asunaro Inn is a traditional style building made of 150-year-old materials brought from the historic Echigo area of Niigata Prefecture.
